Dachshund Puppy Shipping Policy
Our dedicated team brings years of expertise in puppy shipping, ensuring a smooth, safe, and stress-free experience for both you and your new Dachshund puppy. We understand how important it is for your puppy to arrive healthy, happy, and comfortable, and we go above and beyond to make that happen.
How Do We Handle Shipping?
Before shipping, each puppy undergoes a thorough health assessment by our licensed veterinarian, including a fecal test to confirm the absence of worms or parasites. We only ship puppies via airlines that participate in Pet Safety Programs, ensuring your puppy’s well-being throughout the journey. Alternatively, we utilize specialized animal courier services handled by our experienced shipping professionals for added peace of mind.
Once we receive your full payment, we will promptly book the flight and send you a detailed itinerary—including flight schedules, tracking information, and pickup details. On the day of departure, our team prepares your puppy for travel, including checking all paperwork, placing your puppy in a comfortable travel crate, and coordinating with the airline or courier service.
Shipping Options:
Standard Puppy Shipping:
Available for delivery to most major airports in the UK, US, Canada, and Mexico. The fee is $400 (per puppy), which covers airfare, travel crate, vet-issued health certificate, and handling. This fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Personal Puppy Hand Delivery:
For added security, a team member can accompany your puppy during travel, escorting them from our facility to your home or airport. This service is complimentary when you choose air shipping and is available for an extra peace of mind.
Delivery Process:
We will send you an email and phone updates as your puppy progresses through each stage of the flight.
Your puppy is transported in a specially designed, airline-approved crate that ensures comfort and safety, with soft bedding, toys, and a blanket with their sibling’s scent.
During travel, your puppy is accompanied by a caring team member, never flying alone.
Upon arrival, the delivery agent will contact you to arrange pickup or hand delivery, ensuring your new Dachshund is settled into its new home safely and comfortably.
Important Shipping Notes:
Do not give your puppy any vaccines within the first 14 days of arrival; our puppies are fully vaccinated before departure.
Upon receiving your puppy, schedule a veterinary check-up within the first 7 days to confirm health status, as our refund policy requires this.
Any kenneling fees resulting from flight cancellations are the responsibility of the recipient.
Flying Your Puppy:
We prioritize your puppy’s safety by selecting the shortest possible routes with minimal travel time, typically only a few hours. Every puppy traveling by air receives a vet-issued health certificate, obtained upon payment of the shipping fee. The travel crates are designed for comfort, allowing your puppy to stand, sit, and turn freely during the flight.
Your puppy will arrive with:
An airline-approved travel crate
Absorbent bedding and familiar blanket
Food, water, and toys to keep them comfortable
A care manual with feeding instructions and helpful tips
Travel companion (our team member) to ensure their safety and comfort during transit
Personal Hand Delivery:
For extra security, you may opt for a team member to escort your puppy from our facility directly to you or the airport. This personalized service ensures your puppy’s journey is as smooth and reassuring as possible.
Estimated Delivery Time:
Provided your puppy is at least 8 weeks old and all health documents are in order, delivery typically occurs within 1-2 days after booking. We kindly ask for at least 2 hours’ notice to purchase airline tickets at the best rates.
Your puppy will arrive in a clean, new, airline-approved kennel, ready to start their new chapter with you. We are committed to making sure your Dachshund’s journey is safe, comfortable, and full of love.
